P. INSPECT
THE
BATTERY
FOR
CORROSION...LEAKAGE...AND
SWELLING. REPLACE THE BATTERY IF LEAKAGE OR SWELLING IS
PRESENT.
Q. POSITION THE BATTERY IN LINE WITH THE RADIO CONNECTOR
UNTIL THE CONNECTORS ARE MATED...CAREFULLY SEAT THE
BATTERY.
CAUTION: A VERY SLIGHT
PRESSURE ONLY IS REQUIRED
FOR SEATING THE BATTERY.
EXCESSIVE
PRESSURE
OR
FORCED FITTING CAN DAMAGE
THE BATTERY CONNECTOR.
R. INSTALL THE BATTERY BOX ON THE RECEIVER-TRANSMITTER...
S. SECURE THE BATTERY CASE RETAINING CLAMPS...
CAUTION: REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE BATTERY WHENEVER
THE
EQUIPMENT IS NOT TO BE IN USE FOR MORE THAN ONE DAY.
