Answer a is incorrect. During this period of time, some anti-war demonstrations were public and feelings in
private were very intense. However, these forces did not have a strong effect on the morale of these soldiers.

indication that snipers were particularly active;
Answer c is correct. Feelings about the war were more intense since "brother was fighting against brother." This
