The M8A1 Automatic Chemical Agent Alarm provides an audible and/or
visual warning when it detects a chemical agent. Either way, the
following information becomes of command interest:
Date and time of detection
Location(s) of detector unit(s)
Means of delivery, if known
c. Chemical Detection and Identification Devices.
When a chemical agent is encountered and identified, the following
information becomes of command interest:
Date and time
Location
Type of agent
Means of delivery, if known
d. Radiological Detection and Monitoring Devices.
Upon the detection of radiation the following information becomes of
command interest:
Date and time of burst
Location
Dose rate
Total dose
e. NBC Warning and Reporting System.
NBC information received from other friendly units should be given to
the commander as soon as possible. This information may be in the
form of an NBC report or a STRIKWARN message.
PART B -NBC REPORTING PROCEDURES
You probably recognized the information identified in the previous
examples as some of the information required for NBC reports.

NBC Reports.
The reports of Threat or unidentified NBC attacks and the resulting
hazard areas are made according to the provisions of STANAG 2103. The
