The event template depicts the NAI and the relationship of events along all MCs.
It provides a means of analyzing the sequence of activities and events that should
occur for each enemy course of action and how they relate to one another. Figure
6-10 shows the relationship and identification of avenue of approach and MC in the
development of the event template. All NAI are contained within the avenue of
approach or MC.

The event analysis matrix or combined support matrix provides a reference to
information about each NAI identified within an avenue of approach or MC. Items to
be included are location, descriptive name, distance to the next NAI, expected
enemy movement time, and the event or activity expected to occur there based on the
situation template process described in part A of this lesson.
