INTRODUCTION
Camouflage is one of the basic weapons of war. Correctly used, it can spell
the difference between a successful campaign and defeat; to the individual
it can mean the difference between life and death. An imagery analyst (IA)
will often encounter the enemy's use of camouflage in the analysis of a
combat area. A knowledge of the basic methods and techniques of camouflage
is essential.
