NOTE: An ordnance plant normally has a large ammunition storage facility in the
immediate area.
e. Bomb storage is similar to ammunition storage. Bombs are stored in remote
areas near an ordnance plant and airfields. They are surrounded by blast walls to
eliminate sympathetic detonation. An access road leads to each storage bunker.
Furthermore, a road loop is formed so vehicles can enter the area in convoy (Figure 2-14).
