10. Individual Soldiers.
The most numerous sources of NBC information are soldiers. Every soldier is a potential source of
NBC information. Soldiers see things on the battlefield which can be valuable in determining facts
about Threat Forces. The difficult part of this type of information gathering is convincing the soldiers to
report these observations through the chain of command. They may see a piece of information as
inconsequential alone, but when combined with other pieces from other sources, the information may
have significant intelligence value.
