031-505-2001
OVERVIEW
LESSON DESCRIPTION:
In this lesson, you will learn to use a dosimeter or RADIAC Set to
take and read radiation dosage and report a dose reading; and learn
how to charge dosimeters and RADIAC Sets.
TERMINAL LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
ACTION:
Use a dosimeter or RADIAC Set to read radiation dose.
CONDITION:
Given information about the IM-9E/PD, IM-93/UD, IM-
93A/UD, and IM-147/PD Dosimeters; AN/VDR-2 and AN/PDR-
75 RADIAC Sets; purpose, characteristics, and use;
procedures for charging or putting the equipment into
operation; procedure for reading radiation dose; and
supporting illustrations.
STANDARD:
Demonstrate competency of the task skills and
knowledge by responding to the multiple-choice test
covering the purpose, characteristics, and use of the
dosimeters and RADIAC Sets; procedures for charging
the equipment; and procedures for reading radiation
dose.
