(1) YOU
NEED
TO
FIGURE OUT WHICH
BAND
EACH
ASSIGNED
FREQUENCY IS IN.
(A) 33.50 MHz.
(B) 54.40 MHz.
(2) YOU CAN READILY
SEE THAT 33.50
MHz IS IN THE
30-52 BAND AND
54.40 MHz IS IN
THE 53-75 BAND.
(3) YOU NOW NEED TO DETERMINE WHICH MEGAHERTZ FREQUENCY IS
TO BE SET ON THE LOWER STOP.
USE THE FOLLOWING NEW
PROCEDURE.
(A) NORMALLY WE PRESET THE LOWER MEGAHERTZ NUMBER ON THE
LOWER STOP, BUT WHEN SETTING MEGAHERTZ FREQUENCIES
IN TWO DIFFERENT BANDS, THE LOWER MEGAHERTZ NUMBER
ACTUALLY IS THE ONE THAT IS LOWER IN THE BAND; IT IS
IN OR THE ONE CLOSEST TO THE BASE FREQUENCY IN EACH
BAND.
(B) THE BASE FREQUENCY IN EACH BAND
IS
THE
LOWEST
POSSIBLE FREQUENCY IN THE BAND.
1. BASE FREQUENCY IN 30-52 BAND IS 30.
2. BASE FREQUENCY IN 53-75 BAND IS 53.
