I. YOU HAVE JUST COMPLETED PRESETTING TWO FREQUENCIES WITH
ONE IN THE UPPER BAND AND ONE IN THE LOWER BAND.
J. LET'S REVIEW THE PROCEDURE FOR PRESETTING TWO FREQUENCIES
IN DIFFERENT BANDS.
(1) PRESET THE LOWER KILOHERTZ FREQUENCY ON
THE
LOWER
SECTION OF THE KILOHERTZ TUNING CONTROL.
(2) PRESET THE HIGHER KILOHERTZ FREQUENCY ON
THE
UPPER
SECTION OF THE KILOHERTZ TUNING CONTROL.
(3) DETERMINE WHICH BAND EACH MEGAHERTZ FREQUENCY IS IN.
(4) SUBTRACT THE BASE MEGAHERTZ FREQUENCY
FROM
THE
ASSIGNED MEGAHERTZ FREQUENCY IN THAT BAND.
(5) POSITION THE BAND SWITCH TO THE APPROPRIATE POSITION.
(6) PRESET THE MEGAHERTZ FREQUENCY (WHICH IS CLOSEST TO
ITS BASE FREQUENCY) ON THE LOWER SECTION OF THE
MEGAHERTZ TUNING CONTROL.
(7) POSITION THE BAND SWITCH TO THE APPROPRIATE POSITION.
(8) PRESET THE MEGAHERTZ FREQUENCY (WHICH IS FARTHEST FROM
ITS BASE FREQUENCY) ON THE UPPER SECTION OF THE
MEGAHERTZ TUNING CONTROL.
(9) ALWAYS CHECK YOUR PRESET FREQUENCIES AFTER YOU HAVE
COMPLETED PRESETTING THEM.
