be shown.
If each symbol above represents a cell that is rated at 2 volts and 2 ampere-hours, the battery
of cells has a terminal voltage of 2 volts and a current capacity of six (6) ampere-hours.
You can obtain MAXIMUM TERMINAL VOLTAGE by connecting cells in SERIES.
You can obtain MAXIMUM CURRENT CAPACITY by connecting cells in PARALLEL.
The terminal voltage and current capacity of a battery of cells connected in a combination of
series- parallel may be determined as shown below.
