The DT-236/PDR-75, (Figure 5-22), allows radiation monitoring of
individual personnel, provides accurate readings for extended periods
of time after exposure, and is also maintenance-free and lightweight.

Components.
Figure 5-23 shots the major components of the AN/PDR-75.
A
description of each component follows.
a. The carrying case (1) may contain the reader, battery and
vehicle cable. It permits the RADIAC Set to be transported in a field
environment.
b. The battery and connector case (2) contains the lithium
battery, if used, and is fitted to the rear of the reader. It ensures
proper positioning of the reader when installed in the carrying case.
c. The cover plate assembly (3) is attached to the battery and
connector case and secures the lithium battery, if used, in the
battery and connector case.
