(a) Assist in obtaining information about available resources to aid the handicapped.
(b) Provide this information to those who seek it.
This lesson has indicated only a few of the many welfare organizations which have resources and
capabilities available in particular fields. The chaplain will be working constantly with the agencies
discussed in this lesson. To help the chaplain help you, you may wish to review the following Army
Regulations as they apply to "helping" agencies:
AR 608-1 Army Community Service Program
AR 930-4 Army Utilization of USO Services.
AR 930-5 American National Red Cross Service Program and Army Utilization.
