The communication template is placed over the combined obstacles and avenue of
approach overlays to visualize how terrain will affect capabilities to communicate
(see Figure 6-6).
The blocking terrain forces the enemy commander to rely on HF radio to communicate
with two regiments. Just as the MRR disposition was adjusted to represent the
situation in Figures 6-1 thru 6-4, the enemy commander can make adjustments to fit
the communication situation.
