NOTE
Normal operating procedures are in TM 11-6665-251-10, page
2-25, paragraph 2-7.
a. Depress and hold the ACCUM DOSE button.
b. Observe the display and read the accumulated dose (Figure 5-
20).
c. Release the ACCUM DOSE button.
The radiacmeter
will
immediately begin to display readings in dose per hour.
NOTE
Accumulated dose cannot be recalled if a memory loss
occurs.

Accumulated Dose Reading
PART E -THE AN/PDR-75 RADIAC Set WITH DT-236/PDR-75
In order to understand the functions of the AN/PDR-75 RADIAC Set, you
must be able to describe its purpose, characteristics, principles of
operation, and total dose range.
1.
Purpose.
The AN/PDR-75 RADIAC Set
is used to measure the accumulated neutron
and gamma radiation dose
recorded by the DT-236/PDR-75 RADIAC
Detector. Personnel who
nuclear weapons wear the
RADIAC Detector DT-236/PDR-75.
2.
Characteristics.
The AN/PDR-75, reader, (Figure 5-21), allows radiation monitoring of
individual personnel and provides large-scale monitoring for
statistical purposes. It gives virtually instantaneous exposure
readings; provides accurate readings for extended periods of time
after exposure; may be battery operated; and is portable, durable, and
lightweight.
