Now that we have considered the mission, capabilities, and limitations, let
us take a look at the organization of the infantry division.
Infantry Division Organization
As was mentioned earlier, the infantry division is presently structured
under the H-series TOE.
Figure 17 represents the H-series TOE for the
infantry division.
As shown in the figure, the infantry division is a
combined arms force of maneuver, combat support, and combat service support.

INFANTRY DIVISION
There are a number of differences between the infantry division and the
heavy division. These differences include:

Maneuver battalion mix for the infantry
division
is
eight
infantry, one mechanized, and one armored.
o
B Company (atk hel) of the divisional combat aviation battalion
is considered to be a combat maneuver unit.
o
There is no multiple launch rocket system in the DIVARTY.
