PART B - IPB TERRAIN ANALYSIS
Function 2 of the IPB process is Terrain Analysis. Terrain analysis focuses on the
military aspects of terrain and its effects on friendly and enemy capabilities to
move, shoot, and communicate. This includes the following five factors (short
title: OCOKA):
* Observation and fields of fire.
* Concealment and Cover.
* Obstacles.
* Key Terrain.
* Avenues of approach and mobility corridors (MCs).
