The division cavalry squadron is an air cavalry squadron.

The ADA battalion only has towed Vulcans as the primary air
defense weapons system.

There is no multiple launch rocket system in the DIVARTY.
Airborne Infantry Battalion. The mission of the airborne infantry battalion
is to close with the enemy by means of fire and maneuver. This is done in
order to destroy or capture him or repel his assaults by fire, close combat,
and counterattack.
Normally, nine battalions are assigned to an airborne division. Figure 12
illustrates the airborne infantry battalion.
The HHC provides the normal
staff, administrative and logistical support to the subordinate units of the
battalion. There are three rifle companies and one antiarmor company within
the battalion. The rifle companies are the maneuver units for execution.
