INTRODUCTION
When a unit encounters an NBC environment, the commander must receive
NBC information as soon as possible. Additionally, this information
must be updated on a regular basis or when a change in the NBC
situation occurs. The commander bases decisions for survivability on
this information. Failure to provide the commander with timely and
accurate information will lessen the chances of individual and unit
survival.

of obtaining NBC information that is of command interest.
